Prime Minister Imran Khan housing scheme loan has benefited many low-income and middle-income families to have their own houses. He has made it public that the federal government will give a house subsidy of Rs300,000 for the construction of 1000,000 low-cost housing units. Additionally, earmarked funding of Rs35 billion is being provided by the federal government for this program.
The prime minister pointed out that 100,000 apartments are under construction at present. He said the construction process would speedily move forward as a system has been worked out in this regard. The completion of these projects will be expedited by incentivizing both public and private sectors. Due to Imran Khan housing scheme loan, the government is now providing tax relief to spur investment. He also said a one-window operation has started to facilitate the construction sector.
The government will develop a total of 4,400 housing units. Out of these housing units 2,000 will be allocated for low-income people and middle-income people.
