Sand
In 5 marla house construction, almost 4000 – 6000 cubic feet sand is used. There are mainly two kinds of sand used for construction in Pakistan; ravi sand and chenab sand. Mostly house builders prefer to use combination of these sands in construction but the quality of ravi sand is poor than the chenab sand. Usually, in order to reduce cost, about 700-800 cubic feet of chenab sand is used for construction.
